New Gears of War 2 trailer

Posted on Jun 29, 2008 08:18:11 AM

With the release of Unreal Tournament 3 on the 360 coming up, Epic has decided to reward their patient 360 fans with a trailer for the highly anticipated Gears of War 2. Gears 2 is looking as grizzly as ever - the new trailer shows off some new maps, weapons, executions and game modes. The biggest change is the focus on cover. According to Cliffy B, the lead programmer of Gears, the first title’s run and gun feel was not the original intent of the developing staff. This time, cover will play a bigger role, especially now that theres dynamic cover - such as a shield weapon and hostages.

Your incessant craving to make Locust meat giblets will be satisfied this November when the game launches, exclusively for the 360 of course.
